Renowned soprano Montserrat Caballé stars as the legendary Egyptian queen Cleopatra in this concert version of Jules Massenet's acclaimed opera, filmed live at the Great Thermae at Emperor Adrian's Villa in Rome. Known for her seductive charisma, Cleopatra rose to become the ruler of Egypt. Baritone Filippo Bettosch, tenor Nikolai Baskov and soprano Montserrat Martí also star, and Miquel Ortega conducts the Youth Mediterranean Orchestra.
