Happy newlyweds Avinash (Bobby Deol) and Sanjana (Lara Dutta) are on top of the world, until the unthinkable happens: Sanjana is murdered, and Avinash is arrested as the alleged killer. Avinash hires Rohit (Milind Soman) as his attorney and hopes to avoid a strict sentence, even though it turns out that Avinash had a mistress (Gul Panag) all along and that the two actually conspired to commit the heinous crime.
