Mel (Matthew Modine) is a jazz musician with a serious lust for women of all types. When he finally decides to commit to his girlfriend, Inga (Ewa Da Cruz), fate delivers the ultimate test of fidelity in the form of an attractive biologist (Gina Gershon) who sublets Mel's apartment.
