Djilali, a Lebanese orphan turned soldier, is dispatched to Paris on a secret mission. In order to blend in, he befriends a poor Arab boy named Karim. Karim is innocent to the ways of war (he prefers rap music, skateboarding and cheeseburgers). Although Djilali and Karim strike up a fast friendship, Djilali must eventually choose between his mission and the life of his new buddy.
