World-renowned composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein leads the Wiener Philharmoniker in performances of Johannes Brahms's first four symphonies. Soloists include violinist Gidon Kremer, cellist Mischa Maisky and pianist Krystian Zimerman. The concerts were recorded between 1981 and 1984 as part of Bernstein's celebration of the composer's 150th birthday.
