Two young men journey to the countryside, where their trip becomes more and more surreal until they arrive at a quaint homestead and are taken in by a small family. There, the two put away worldly cares and enjoy an enchanted idyll in the woods. But however strong their desire to linger in this atemporal fantasy world, reality inevitably intrudes.
