Hotshot adman Josh (Ben Barnes) goes into an eerie tailspin, first abandoning his career and then landing in a car wreck that puts his daughter Brooke (Abby Steinman and Helen Steinman) in a coma. Certain the crash was not accidental, Josh chases an ex-girlfriend (Eliza Dushku) he suspects is responsible. While Josh battles to regain control of his life, mysterious phone calls have him convinced that Brooke is trying to contact him.
