Documentarian Darius Marder follows treasure hunter Lance Larson on a journey that leads from the Philippines to the Austrian countryside in pursuit of riches buried by World War II veterans Andrew Seventy and Darrel Ross more than 60 years ago. The film also brilliantly captures the aging veterans' quest for closure and how it has forced them to remember a host of disquieting memories about the horrors of war and human nature's dark side.
