Los Munequitos de Matanzas: Live in L.A.

2005 Rated NR 1hr

The legendary Cuban rumba group Los Muñequitos de Matanzas got its start in the 1950s when a group of young people began following the rhythms of Arsenio Rodríguez, who was then playing on dishes and bottles in a type of "kitchen rumba." More than 50 years later, the unique musical ensemble -- now composed of 17 talented rumberos -- takes off on a journey of rhythm and dance, recorded live in 2001 at Los Angeles's Wilshire Theatre.
