Lost Nation: The Ioway
Husband-and-wife filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle chronicle the dramatic story of the Ioway people, a once-powerful American Indian tribe that signed away 36 million acres of their homeland to the U.S. government to create the state of Iowa. The Ioways' White Cloud viewed the move as a necessary evil for survival. But his brother Great Walker saw the treaty as the figurative death of the tribe's existence.
