Reeling from the death of his wife, the emotionally vulnerable Gurupada Mitter (Prasad Mukherjee) is easy prey for a con artist claiming to be a holy man. What's more, the gullible Gurupada not only becomes a disciple of the false guru, he persuades his family to follow the charlatan, too. It's going to take a lot of trickery on the part of Gurupada's friends to outscheme the flimflam man and expose his shady spiritual scam.
