Make a Million
In this overlooked 1930s screwball comedy, Charles Starrett stars as Reginald Jones, an economics professor who gets fired after he fails the daughter of one of the school's biggest contributors, Mr. Corning (Guy Usher). Out on his own, Jones puts his economic theories to work and panhandles his way to wealth. The plot twists pile up as Corning uses every trick in the book to spoil Jones's cuckoo quest for millions.
