After 25 years in prison, parolee John Mercy (Gary Shannon) is released into a cold world populated by hostile people -- with the exception of would-be actress Eve (Shelley Farrell). But since meeting her, he's tormented by nightmares, awakening each time with a missing body part. As John struggles to make sense of the horrific waking dream his life has become, his subconscious keeps pushing him closer to the edge of insanity.
