When her wealthy spouse (James Hall) betrays her, Millie Maitland (Helen Twelvetrees) asks for a divorce but is forced to leave her daughter in her ex-husband's care. Anguished over the separation, she opens her heart to a handsome reporter, only to be hurt yet again. Now, with an old flame resurfacing who has his eyes on her now-grown daughter (Anita Louise), Millie decides she's finished with men. And she means it.
