In this stunning anime, Takaya is dispatched to Kyoto to investigate the reemergence of the Ikko sect and Araki Murashige, a member of the Ikko who deserted the clan. Accompanied by his sidekick, Haruie, Takaya tracks down the elusive Arak. Takaya realizes he must eliminate Araki -- who has become a threat -- and orders Haruie to do the job.
