When architect Wilbur Post (Alan Young) discovers his horse, Mister Ed, can talk, the two form a wonderful bond. But the mischievous, wise-cracking horse refuses to talk to anyone else, frequently getting Wilbur into all sorts of trouble. Meanwhile, Wilbur spends time pacifying his puzzled wife, Carol (Connie Hines), trying to explain away a host of embarrassing and hilarious shenanigans in this classic Golden Globe-winning sitcom.

Summary of Season 2 (1961) - 4 discs

Everybody's favorite talking palomino, Mister Ed, is back for another season of roping his owner Wilbur (Alan Young) into an array of shenanigans, such as trying to get a color television installed in the barn for his birthday. This year, Ed also uses the phone to flirt with another horse, reluctantly poses for a statue, and fears that he is going bald. Look for guest appearances by Zsa Zsa Gabor, Alan Hale, George Burns and Clint Eastwood.
