In this thriller directed by Claude Miller, veteran detective Beauvoir (Michel Serrault) is hot on the trail of Catherine Leiris (Isabelle Adjani), a serial killer. But when Beauvoir begins to suspect that his quarry is actually his long-lost daughter, he switches allegiance and helps protect Catherine from capture by the police.
