Common Sense Note

Parents need to know that Mr. Bean is a popular British comedy series that features lots of slapstick humor and running gags. While it's pretty mild, some of the sketches feature non-sexual bare bottoms (which aren't always blurred), and drinking. Gags occasionally lead to some crashes and bumps, but no one is seriously hurt, and while he doesn't talk much, rude hand gestures are almost made.

Sexual Content

Mr. Bean usually doesn't recognize when people are mildly flirting with him. Occasional stunts leave him with bottom exposed (and not always blurred).

Violence

Cars crash, objects fly and break, and occasionally people get hit on the head or in other areas thanks to some crazy stunts, but no one is seriously injured.

Language

Mr. Bean rarely speaks, but occasionally plays with his middle finger.

Social Behavior

The show's slapstick humor doesn't target anyone but Mr. Bean.

Consumerism

Occasionally logos for Harrods and other British stores and venues are visible. Over the years Mr. Bean has driven (and crashed) a variety of British Mini cars.

Drugs / Tobacco / Alcohol

Wine, sherry, cognac, and occasional ales are consumed at home or during social functions.
