Audrey (Anna Maria Horsford), a classical music student at a Midwestern college, has a big problem on her hands: her family. (Think of her as Marilyn in TV's "The Munsters.") Audrey's parents were funk/R&B stars in the 1970s, her brother's a hip-hop scenester, and her little sister is an MC in the mold of Lil' Kim. Understandably, Audrey hides her clan from her new boyfriend. But the deceit won't hold when the family shows up for a visit!
