Scottish filmmaker Bill Douglas's semiautobiographical trilogy concludes with this tale of malcontent youth Jamie (Stephen Archibald). After getting in trouble for petty crimes, Jamie winds up in a group home, but eventually joins the military. While in the Royal Air Force, he befriends Robert (Joseph Blatchley), and the relationship helps him straighten up as he learns some important life lessons and begins to follow his artistic dreams.
