This documentary focuses on the work of Hisashi Tenmyouya, a painter whose neotraditional Japanese style is produced through time-honored techniques to combine modern and classical images into uniquely provocative works of art. Besides offering viewers a glimpse into Tenmyouya's artistic process as he prepares for a show, this film also features insights from some of the artist's friends and colleagues.
