Night Key / Tower of London
Horror icon Boris Karloff -- best known for his portrayals of Frankenstein's monster and Im-ho-tep the mummy -- takes on a wide variety of roles in this collection of classics. In Night Key (1937), he plays a scientist who invents a coveted device that defeats burglar alarms. Then, in Tower of London (1939), he appears as a limping executioner who helps King Richard III (Basil Rathbone) put the screws to his political enemies.
