Although Hollywood is the center of the moviemaking universe, it runs on its own crazy steam since no one is truly steering the wheel. That's what a fledgling director (Alanna Ubach) learns when she gains a toehold on Hollywood by teaming up with a jaded screenwriter (Michael Lerner) to make a movie.
