Summary of Season 1 (1990) - 2 discs
In this quirky, Emmy award-winning CBS series, New Yorker Dr. Joel Fleishman (Rob Morrow) is lured to Alaska by the chance of paying off his medical school bills. But it takes a while for him to warm to the colorful citizens of tiny Cicely, Alaska: feisty Maggie (Janine Turner), pragmatic Holling (John Cullum) and idealistic Chris (John Corbett).
