Katharine Hepburn plays an eccentric lady who helps two neighborhood boys go on a high-flying adventure in this charming family tale. To celebrate the birthday of his late grandfather, who once flew in a hot-air balloon as "the Great Sandusky," Alby (Kevin McKenzie) enlists the aid of his best friend (Dennis Dimster) to reenact the flight. But if they hope to get off the ground, they'll need the help of feisty junkyard owner Miss Pudd (Hepburn).
