Widow Saraswati Batra (Waheeda Rehman) raises three sons alone: Om (Anil Kapoor), Jai (Fardeen Khan) and Jagadish (Abhishek Bachchan). While oldest son Om takes responsibility for the family business, his younger brothers prefer fast cars and computer hacking.
