Peter (Brendan P. Hines) suffers a crisis of faith and decides to leave the seminary, where he's been studying to become a priest. Moving onto a college campus, he begins a complex relationship with his lifelong friend, Alex ,and a beautiful young co-ed named Rachel. But when the campus experiences a sudden upsurge in homophobia -- culminating in a brutal hate crime -- Peter is forced to reexamine his religious faith.
