High school football coach Howie Klausner fell into documentary filmmaking when he met the minor-league Billings Outlaws at a tryout in California. He follows the mostly black team back to Billings, Mont. -- one of the whitest cities in the country. Klausner's action-packed film captures the highs and lows of poorly paid, culture-shocked players who moved thousands of miles from home to take a shot at every player's dream: moving up to the NFL.
