P.D.Q. Bach in Houston: We Have a Problem

2006 Rated NR 1hr 42m

In this quirky concert video, innovative parodist Peter Schickele and his Orchestra X perform selections from P.D.Q. Bach -- fictional composer and love child of Johann Sebastian. Accompanied by the Okay Chorale, Schickele shakes up the audience at Rice University's Stude Hall with his bawdy spoofs of classical music. Numbers include "The Seasonings," "The 'Unbegun' Symphony," "Schleptet in Eb" and the cantata "Iphigenia in Brooklyn."
