Director Jon Valadez's compelling documentary probes the case of Dhoruba Bin Wahad, who was born Richard Moore and became a Black Panther, only to find himself imprisoned for the shooting of two white policemen. Eventually exonerated after spending 19 years in jail, Dhoruba relates the incredible story of his long ordeal and quest for justice, a tale bolstered by the testimony of his attorneys and other Black Panthers.
