In this award-winning slice-of-life docudrama, spirited and sensitive 10-year-old Winnie (Winnie Maughan), her mother, Rose (Rose Maughan), and a few of her many siblings drift on the fringes of society and in the desolate areas of Dublin as part of a vagabond community. Roaming the streets during her school suspension, Winnie finds mischief while her mom deals with authorities looking to marginalize her family even more.
