Wealthy Anglich (Michael Constantine) hires private eye Tucker (Michael Caine) to find his missing daughter in this noir spoof. The trail leads Tucker to the quirky Prendergast family, and he suspects that one of the female members -- either Ellen (Natalie Wood) or Mianne (Kitty Winn) -- is the lost girl. Now, he must use all his deductive powers to determine which Prendergast is really an Anglich. Timothy Carey and Thayer David co-star.
