The relationship of running water to the earth is explored in this program. Running water transforms the earth's surface by wearing rock away, carrying it, then depositing it in another place. Among the facets of this process examined are suspension, solution, load, rapids, potholes, meanders, braided streams, deltas, alluvial fans, waterfalls and flood plains.
