In this 1929 drama, London nightclub dancer Mabel Greenfield (Gilda Gray) is the object of her boss Wilmot's (Jameson Thomas) affection -- so much so that he fires her partner, Victor (Cyril Ritchard), out of jealousy. When profits tank, Wilmot gives dishwasher Shosho a job as a dancer, much to the crowd's liking. Now, Mabel is the jealous one, and a trip to Shosho's apartment will end in Shosho's death. But could Mabel really be the killer?
