Filmmaker Jim O'Donnell charts the life and career of unconventional bluesman Daddy Mack Orr in this music-laden documentary that also includes footage from the 2006 Arkansas Music and Heritage Festival, featuring Billy Gibson on harmonica. Raised in rural Mississippi, Orr eventually found his way to Memphis -- but he didn't pick up his first blues guitar until he was 45. Since then, he's set a standard with his unique style and sound.
