In the midst of their travels, Ash, Dawn and the rest of the gang join forces with Kellyn, a Pokémon Ranger tasked with rescuing a powerful Riolu from the clutches of the notorious Pokémon hunter J. After J manages to abduct the injured monster, Kellyn uses a Battanage Capture Styler to save the team from a watery grave, and Ash reveals that he and Riolu share the ability to use Aura Sphere.
