Rather than be mere observers, this documentary's filmmakers stepped onstage themselves, so to speak, to get to know what it's truly like to be an exotic dancer. By doing so, they managed to create an engrossing and deeply personal film that chronicles the lives of three dancers and a waitress -- the assertive April, pregnant Ginger, vibrant Zoe and headstrong Jessica -- at one of the biggest clubs in the nation's capital.
