When young Krishna (Anil Kapoor) is thrown out on the streets by his dastardly uncle Sajhan (Paresh Rawal), Krishna's teacher Saraswati (Rakhee Gulzar) takes in the young man. Years later, Krishna's cousin, under Sajhan's evil thumb, commits an awful crime against Saraswati's family, and Krishna is falsely accused. While a possibly corrupt cop chases Krishna, the young man pursues his own quest of vengeance in this tense Indian thriller.
