Conniving swindler Marvin Fleece (Dabney Coleman) steals millions as a televangelist superstar in this satirical comedy. The charismatic con man turns a dumpy TV station into a powerhouse studio with shows such as "Jump for Jesus," but when employees find out Fleece is a money-worshipping phony, judgment day arrives earlier than expected for the greedy preacher. Devo, Paul Reubens, Nancy Morgan, Roger E. Mosley and Marcia Wallace co-star.
