Jerzy Kawalerowicz takes on Nobel Prize winner Henry Sinkiewicz's sweeping saga, famously interpreted in 1951 by Hollywood legend Mervyn LeRoy. It's 64 A.D., and soldier Marcus Vinicius (Pawel Delag) rejoins Petronius (Boguslaw Linda) in Rome after battle.
