This beguiling documentary chronicles the adventures of Quentin Crisp, a dandified British expatriate living in New York City. Crisp minces through downtown Manhattan, where he runs across such fellow eccentrics as Warhol alum Holly Woodlawn, elderly sex prodigy Felicity Mason, rock star Sting, playwright Robert Patrick and actor John Hurt (who played Crisp in the autobiographical The Naked Civil Servant). Jonathan Nossiter directs.
