High school student Leo Leone (Danny Mousetis) is the only son of his wrestling-coach dad, former state champion Ed Leone (Jimi Petulla). Dedicated to his sport and to his father -- who makes a meager living and desperately wants a wrestling scholarship for his son -- Leo struggles through an endless cycle of training, sacrifice and starving to make weight. As the state championships near, the relationship between father and son becomes strained.
