Stage director David Poultney offers a new take on composer Antonín Dvorák's three-act opera -- the tale of a young girl who falls for a seemingly unattainable man -- in this 1986 staging of "Rusalka," performed by the English National Opera. Australian soprano Eilene Hannan sings the title role, with British tenor John Treleaven playing the part of the handsome prince who catches her eye and mezzo-soprano Ann Howard as Rusalka's stern governess.
