In this foreign-language drama about a young boy's sexual awakening, 18-year-old Filipino boatman Alfred (Ryan Dungo) is caught between the provincial world he knows and another world beyond what he's ever experienced. On the one hand is his sexually frustrating relationship with his girlfriend, Cecilia (Martina Wilson), who cannot speak. On the other is his fellow boatmen's custom of accepting extra cash for sexual favors.
