With her heart set on playing an angel in her church's annual procession, young Monica (Genevieve Buechner) "borrows" a set of costume wings and tries to blend into the cast. But her plans are thwarted when the wings end up in the hands of a homeless woman (Clare Coulter) who believes she's the Virgin Mary. Director Terrance Odette also penned the screenplay for this smart and heartwarming comedy, his second feature film.
