Its title translating to "Our Folks," this slapstick comedy examines what happens when mortal enemies become neighbors. After relocating to western Poland at the end of World War II, feuding peasant families discover that fate has dealt them a blow: They've settled on two different farms that just so happen to share a border. But the fact that their children don't seem to mind is a troubling development for the quarreling parents.
