Despite his parents' wishes, on his wedding day he decides to rebel and jilts his bride-to-be -- much to the chagrin of his traditional family. Rakesh Pandey, Madhu Chakravarty and A.K. Hangal star in director Basu Chatterjee's 1969 drama adapted from a novel by Rajendra Yadav.
