When spunky Sasami was a child, her parents forbade her to use her magical powers, so she kept them a secret. But now that she is in fifth grade, she has formed a Magical Girl Club with the support of her teacher, Miss Washu. Sasami and her friends, who also have special abilities, are learning to control their powers in order to use them both in school and while they partake in adventures in exhilarating, far-off realms.
