Talented, hardworking Shekhar (Akshaye Khanna) finds his Bollywood dreams shattered when the buffoonish Chandu (Arshad Warsi) steals his screenplay and rides it to superstardom. Distraught and subsequently deserted by his wife (Amrita Rao), Shekhar vows revenge.
