Lina Inverse and her comrade, Nahga the Serpent, use their powers of sorcery to blast anyone who annoys them. In this anime adventure, the heroines end up on the mist-shrouded Island of Mipross, where they take on a jellyfish-worshiping cult, an evil hypnotist and a slick pickpocket. Later, Lina's dreams embroil her in a sometimes grisly, sometimes hilarious battle between the ancient sage Rowdy and the demon Joyrock.
